1989
A number of families began meeting as the chuch in Hutt City in 1989. Initially there were three families who migrated from North Shore,
Auckland and Richmond, Nelson in 1984. At that time they were having the Lord's table with the church in Wellington. As the number of families living in Hutt City grew, there was the need to start meeting there. The saints
began to meet together in Hutt City in 1989 with about twelve to fourteen brothers and sisters. The Lord's table was held in rented halls and in the homes of the believers.
2000
Currently, the church in Hutt City has a meeting in the morning on the Lord's Day plus other weekly meetings as listed below. The number has now grown to about forty. We are
one accord in the Lord's move even though the members are from different nationalities and cultures.
